Thank you, everyone, for loving Part 1 of Meri Joolie (Female Dog Daughter) Ki Kahani. After seeing much appreciation and excitement, I am coming up with Part 2 of Meri Joolie (Female Dog Daughter) Ki Kahani. So, without wasting any time, let’s continue her story, which is divine and acknowledging.
My Relationship with Joolie –
As everyone knows, my relationship with Joolie wasn’t limited to the feeding and caring, but as a Father and Daughter. She was dearest to me to the extent that it’s been months since she left me, but still, I used to see her in dreams, and she’s always in my heart. I always called her – “मेरी लाडली बेटी”. In addition, I used to call each male dog my son and female dogs my beti, but telling her my daughter was unique because no dog after Shaggy ever communicated with me like she did.

Our communications were seen by our people who used to work with us in rescues and saving animals’ lives at our non-governmental organization, Kalpataru Welfare Society. Soon after shifting her to the temporary shelter, Joolie found peace as she no longer had to roam in fear while getting hit by humans filled with hatred. She was surrounded by the people who call her Our Precious Child and who tackle her like—She too is a living being, which most people nowadays lack.
Not only did she care for me, but she also used to care for every human around him. One evening, two male dogs were in a fight, where the people present at the shelter, too, were unable to handle the situation and were bitten during the prevention when Joolie, from her cozy bed, as the eldest one, came to the rescue. She immediately held one dog in power from his back, which caused him pain, and released the dog who was getting bitten by him and pushed him away. Yes, this was done by our Joolie, the 10-year-old female dog, my daughter. You can take a glimpse at her smartness from this.
Notorious Activities of Joolie –
Soon after coming to the shelter, she started trying to return to her area as she was missing her area badly. She was so notorious at this age that she left our shelter without getting noticed, as she was healthy enough to open an iron gate with her hands. She even tore the plastic sheet we had attached to the gate with her bare teeth; she was notorious.
She was so notorious that only I could handle her, as she only listened to me. She loved me to the extent that even after being in enough pain, she always wagged her tail after watching me from a distance and started communicating with me about her sorrows, pain, and complaints about why I wasn’t there with her for a whole day.
I still remember how we – the people of our NGO who work tirelessly for the betterment of our Animals, spent days searching for Joolie as she went missing for almost 4 days. I even released a video on our Instagram Handle highlighting an urge to let us know where she is, as he was roaming with a plaster on her hand and an open wound.
As you can see in this video, how she communicates with me allows you to understand our precious bond and how much she loved me. I am again in tears as I miss her a lot. She was my heartbeat, my only daughter after my beloved son Shaggy, who misses her too. He reacts to her name because she, too, was dear to him as his elder sister.
Joolie once again ran away from our Shelter –

As I have said, she was notorious to the core as we appointed new staff for the night stay, and on that night only, she again opened the gate and ran away from the shelter. Our shelter’s alarm started ringing due to the sensors, and that’s when we all reviewed the footage and initiated the search at midnight. We four were out in the cold, at 4 degrees Celsius, on January 2, 2025, at 12 am. I was on a bike with only motive to search for her as she was having an operation scheduled for her tumour on the 5th of January.
Yes, the wound about which I have discussed in a previous blog was the mammary tumour, which was spreading like hell inside her. We were out from 12 am, and with God’s grace, we found her at 3 am after a detailed search drive of about 5 to 6 kilometers.
First, I thanked God for reuniting with her again, and she licked me as if telling me, “I am sorry, Papa. I was missing my place, so I ran off from the Shelter again, but thankfully, you found me.” We immediately took her back to our shelter, where she slept in her cozy, warm bed. We instructed our new caretaker to have a look at our most notorious child.
How did Joolie have a Mammary Tumour?
Aggressive Mammary Tumour was the reason behind her death, as, even after being operated at 4th of January, 2025, her mammary tumour was spreading rapidly throughout her body through her skin. By April, her mammary tumour had spread to her lungs and chest. The reason behind this was simple: overbreeding and delivering. Yes, in her lifetime of 8 years, she gave birth to several puppies because one here saw her as a girl too, but as an animal for whom plenty of humans nowadays have no feelings.

I can’t understand one simple fact—how was Joolie different from a Human Girl or a Lady? Because she, too, had periods, gave birth to babies after mating, ovulated, and breastfed her kids, then how and why the hell are female dogs and animals like Joolie never considered worthy enough to understand how it is essential to prevent all this?
Due to giving birth to puppies twice a year since her adolescence, her mammary tumour started growing in her. It could have been avoided if the people of her area had done sterilizations on her, instead of neglecting her as a useless animal. Female Dogs and Animals like Joolie suffer the worst during mating seasons because several dogs are there to mate, which, in general, is Rape. Yes, that’s the same as Human Rape.
We even took her to Jabalpur Vet Hospital, hoping she would be okay after receiving medical attention, but to our bad luck, nothing happened, and we returned with her again.
Hardest Good Bye to Joolie –
While writing this paragraph, I was completely in tears. I feel guilty for not being here for 6 years to prevent her death by sterilizing her before. Where do I lack that caused her to leave me too soon? She used to listen to every command I gave, but this was the command she broke; this was the promise of not leaving me that she didn’t follow.
On the 17th of April, I met her at night around 9 pm, and she was in pain due to the chemo tube, which was prescribed after her body’s test, which came in favour of us, and her body was ready to handle the pain. But on the 17th, I saw her in pain, and immediately took steps to avoid her chemo as her body wasn’t accepting this, and her body was deteriorating. I picked her up and took her to an open area at our shelter, having grass and sand to provide her with the coldness, as she was inside the shelter’s hall.
I just told her that –
“जूली, अपने पापा को छोड़कर मत जाना, पापा जी नहीं पाएंगे, पापा सब ठीक कर देंगे,
कलसे कोई कीमो की ट्यूब नी लगेगी, प्लीज, अपने पापा को मत छोड़ना”

I still remember her eyes watching me without blinking, as if she was trying to look at me with a hope of watching me one last time. I petted her head and body, and she waved her tail before I departed from the shelter. I left the refuge while shouting that I would return in the morning, holding you in my arms and petting you. But on the 18th of April, at 6 a.m., I got the news that she was no more.
My whole world collapsed, I woke up after a deep sleep and went straight to my mom crying like hell that – “मेरी बेटी जूली मुझे छोड़ कर चली गई माँ इस दुनिया से”. I hugged my mom tightly and went for a walk with my son, Shaggy, while crying uncontrollably throughout my walk. Shaggy, too, understood the news and was upset enough. Within 10 minutes, I returned home and then headed towards the shelter along with our NGO’s chairperson, Didi, for the final rites of Joolie. For about an hour, I held the lifeless body of Joolie in my arms and had a Geeta’s path for her and buried her with all the rituals.
Our Promise –
After burying her, we all promised Joolie that each one of us would take care of her only remaining daughter, Chutki. We will never let her feel the emptiness of her divine Mother, Joolie. Her daughter Chutki, aka Jelly, lives happily at our shelter and has grown more notorious. She is a female Goon, utterly different from her mother.

We have promised her to save as many lives as we can of animals in need to make her soul happy. We are caring for other animals after her without any pause and will soon start a sterilization drive to prevent any other female Dog, like Joolie, from facing the same pain.
Joolie’s Daughter – Chutki’s current Glimpse.
Thank you so much, everyone, for reading this Blog. It is lengthy because it contains my love, feelings, and bond with my deceased Dog Daughter, Joolie. Please save their lives and adopt compassion over cruelty. They love us more than we can even imagine.
