Distress makes you realise what you really want.It could connect you with care and compassion when you need it the most.When you are feeling hurt,embrace it,donโt fight it and then you will start to feel better.We must embrace distress in order to accept the feeling of happiness.It helps us feel strong in face of difficulty.What makes us hurt now might not be so difficult later as we have learned to live and be resilient.Just be kind toย yourself.Light starts to come in and you find your way out.It is perfect to sometimes feel lost and unsure.It is perfect to have no idea how you are going to hold it sometimes.We put so much load on ourselves to be happy all the time.By giving ourselves the right to feel distress,we are actually achieving our strength back in life.
When we know whatโs hurting us,we can start healing and growing.It remind’s us of life’s meaning.It motivates us to give our best.We usually experience distress because we have lost something.However what we do have control over is how we decide to react to those painful thoughts.It reminds us of our values,our purpose and our passion.It connects us with others.We make positive changes.It is such a brave thing to meet your pain.You can turn this pain into a new beginning.Decide who you want to be.We may sometimes lose hope.Pain needs to be accepted.
It is better to be whole than to be perfect.Just remember that even painful thoughts have a place in our lives.But first,we must accept whatโs happening.Then we can decide how we want to best deal with it.We canโt control when these difficult times come,but we can be strong enough to move through them by giving ourselves love.You are doing the best you can.The more you fight your pain,the more it will show up,the more you let it be,the less power it will have over you.When we embrace our pain,suddenly it isnโt so painful.
