Dr. J. Somasekar, Professor and Program Head of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science – AIDD) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), has been recognized on the global stage with keynote speaker invitations to Malaysia, Egypt, and Singapore.
Keynote Address in Egypt
In May 2025, Dr. Somasekar delivered the keynote address at the IEEE International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Smart Innovation (ICMISI-2025), hosted by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AAST) in Alexandria, Egypt. He also chaired multiple technical sessions.
Acknowledging his outstanding contributions, the Department of Science and Technology (DST)–ANRF, Government of India, awarded him an International Travel Grant, covering airfare, visa processing, and other expenses. The recognition was marked with a felicitation ceremony attended by the conference President and General Chair.
Malaysia Visit Under INTI Sponsorship
In November 2024, Dr. Somasekar was invited as a keynote speaker to the 9th International Conference on Information Technology and Digital Applications (ICITDA), organized by INTI International University, Malaysia, in collaboration with Universitas Islam Indonesia and co-sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Section and IEEE Computer Society.
Under the Inbound Visiting Scholar (IVS) Program, INTI Malaysia fully sponsored his visit, including travel, accommodation, and campus engagement programs.
Upcoming Keynote in Singapore
Extending his international academic presence, Dr. Somasekar will serve as a keynote speaker at the 4th World Conference on Multidisciplinary Research & Innovation (WCMRI-2025) in July 2025, supported by the event organizers.
