Defeat the Mobile Monster: A Relentless Focus on Growing Strong and Reclaiming the Power of Mealtimes from Digital Distractions
Her father gave her the phone.
As soon as she pressed play,
suddenly POOF!
A tiny, funny-looking Mobile Monster jumped out of the screen!
Neha was sitting with her plate of idlis.
But she refused to eat without watching cartoons on the phone.
He had square glasses like a screen,
antenna-like hair and a tummy full of wires.

The monster shouted,
“Ha-ha! Keep eating with the phone, Neha!
The more you look at me,
the weaker your food becomes.
One day, I will eat your idlis instead of you!”
Neha’s eyes popped wide open.
“No, no! These are my idlis!”
The idlis on her plate giggled,
“Yes, Neha, we came here for you, not for the monster.”
Quickly, Neha pushed the phone away,
took a big bite of idli and said,
“Go away, Mobile Monster! I don’t need you while eating.”
The monster vanished with a zap!
And Neha enjoyed her food happily.
Moral: When you eat with a phone, the food becomes sad and the “Mobile Monster” grows strong. Eat with love and you grow strong instead!
